What's the one thing you wish you'd known before rebuilding an existing program?

Build the foundation before you scale the program. I came into Timeline mid-Q4 with Black Friday right around the corner, so I had to move fast. We onboarded a lot of creators without the right automation infrastructure in place to keep them engaged, and so a lot just disappeared after the holidays. Scale only works if the foundation is there first, or you're just bringing people into a program that you can’t hold onto.

How would you describe a great creator relationship?

It has to be rooted in trust and a real connection not just to the product, but to the brand. Especially in supplements, you're asking someone to put something in their body and tell their audience about it. That's not transactional. The creators who show up for us long-term are the ones who genuinely believe in what we're doing, not just the ones who posted once.

How would you describe Superfiliate in one word?

It’s incredible infrastructure, but that doesn't capture the support side — the CS team is a huge part of how this works. Honestly? Superfiliate is so much more than one word.

How Timeline is building a trust-based creator program at scale with Superfiliate:

Automated sequences spanning outreach, onboarding, and engagement replace repetitive manual touchpoints, keeping creators active from first contact through to repeat sales without requiring the team to manage each communication directly.

Continual gifting campaigns keep engaged creators restocked with product, with re-earn pathways tied to posting and sales to turn one-time recipients into long-term program contributors.

Link-only attribution and IG authentication eliminate coupon code leakage and fraudulent accounts, protecting program integrity and ensuring every dashboard reflects real performance.

When Leslie Vance joined Timeline as Partnerships Manager, their program inside Superfiliate was already up and running. Creators were applying via inbound and onboarded via automations. However, there was no vetting process for creators and limited communications to encourage engagement with the program.

Timeline makes Mitopure , the first and only clinically proven Urolithin A supplement, backed by 18 years of research. As a brand built on rigorous science, creator credibility and trust are foundational requirements rather than nice-to-haves.

Leslie’s first priority upon joining Timeline was to audit the existing program–and start building a creator engagement system inside Superfiliate from the ground up.

Building the system that keeps creators active

Leslie worked through the full creator list, surfacing accounts that had never posted about Timeline or didn't match the identity on file. Superfiliate’s link-only affiliate tracking closed code leakage, along with Instagram account authentication to screen out spam and fake accounts at
the application stage.

These quality controls raised the bar for high-quality program enrollment. The next challenge that Leslie needed to address was creator engagement. Creators were only receiving a single onboarding email from Timeline — no follow-up, no content prompts, and no reason to stay engaged.

Multi-touch sequences built with Superfiliate’s automation engine now guide creators through their initial weeks in the program, including low-lift content prompts timed for when they receive product. For outreach, a dedicated prospects program inside Superfiliate handles the full communication and invite sequence. Leslie adds a name, email, and social handle, and automated welcome and follow-up emails do the rest.

"There was no automation after the initial email. No engagement expectations were being enforced. There was also no way for people to earn new product, so I rebuilt all of that with Superfiliate."

Keeping creators engaged with continual gifting

For a supplement brand like Timeline, keeping creators stocked and posting requires a gifting system that runs continuously, rather than a one-time send.

Superfiliate's end-to-end gifting automation ensures that once a creator hits the re-earn threshold (three posts or three sales in a month) more product ships automatically. This cycle runs without Leslie having to track each creator's status manually or coordinate individual sends, keeping engaged creators restocked and content being posted.

Timeline has been run over 16,000 automated workflows to date across program enrollment, engagement, and gifting, allowing the team to scale their program seamlessly while improving the creator experience.

"The continual gifting automation was a game changer — keeping creators restocked and in the cycle without me having to manage each send manually."

Valuing every creator for what they’re driving

Once the foundation was set and the pipeline was running, Leslie shifted how Timeline thought about creator value, viewing affiliates as far more than just a revenue channel.

In supplements, creators who build credibility and drive awareness are contributing to a purchase decision that takes longer than an impulse buy. The creator who never converts directly may in fact be doing the most important work in the funnel.

Superfiliate's social tab and dashboard make this work visible. Leslie can pull up an individual creator, see their posting frequency, sales attribution, and social metrics, then assess what role they're actually playing in the funnel — awareness, conversion, content for paid amplification — before deciding how to invest in them.

"Being able to see that clearly through Superfiliate means we can value each creator differently and build a stronger, more balanced program overall."

The result: A program that grows because the foundation holds

With Superfiliate, Leslie leveled up an affiliate program that now earns trust from both consumers and creators at every stage: from outreach to enrollment through to ongoing touchpoints that fuel content creation and sales.

By the numbers:

  • 102% revenue QoQ increase from their flagship affiliate program
  • Over 16,000 automated workflows run
  • 2000+ creators enrolled

With the program having exceeded expectations in the space of a quarter, Leslie now has the foundation in place to continue this impressive growth

"I'm trying to evolve it into something much more human. Affiliates are not just a revenue channel, but a trust layer between the brand and the customer."
