Aspire Alternatives
Why Shopify DTC Brands
Switch to Superfiliate

Aspire serves enterprise brands like Samsung, Walmart, and Dyson with a 1M+ creator marketplace and a full-service agency arm. Superfiliate is the Shopify-native alternative creator marketing platform purpose-built for DTC brands supporting Meta Partnership Ads, TikTok Shop, and YouTube in one unified platform, with full attribution back to their Shopify store.

Superfiliate vs Aspire

Superfiliate is the Shopify-native creator marketing platform for DTC brands who wish to run influencer, affiliate, Meta Partnership Ads, TikTok Shop, and YouTube creator partnerships in one unified platform. Aspire is an enterprise influencer marketing platform with a creator marketplace and an agency arm, built for brands that operate primarily across non-Shopify channels.

Superfiliate gives brands access to deep Shopify-native workflows, cobranded landing pages with full attribution, dark posting and UGC ad capabilities, and a native TikTok Shop integration. Aspire's advantages are marketplace scale, managed services, and integrations with non-Shopify channels, strengths that are less important to Shopify DTC brands.

Why DTC brands switch from Aspire to Superfiliate

Natively built for Shopify

Every hour your team spends reconciling creator data across tools is time they're not building relationships or growing their program.

Superfiliate plugs straight into your Shopify catalog where cobranded landing pages, payouts, and revenue attribution all flow through your store of record, no reconciliation needed. Aspire is also Shopify-native, but serves brands across other ecommerce platforms including WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and custom-built storefronts. In practice, this breadth means that Shopify brands often wait longer for features like native Buy X Get Y offers, Shopify storefront analytics, and checkout-level attribution. Superfiliate ships improvements and net-new features to Shopify much faster than Aspire because attention isn't split by building for multiple platforms at once.

Fully-integrated cobranded landing pages

Personalized, cobranded landing pages allow brands to leverage the trust and credibility of creators from a customer’s initial engagement with content–all the way through to the checkout and the moment of purchase.

Every Superfiliate creator gets a Shopify-stocked landing page created for them that updates automatically as your catalog changes, with featured reviews, product selections, and creator UGC. The checkout experience happens natively inside your store, not an offsite storefront.

While Aspire's personalized creator storefronts look similar on the front end, they live outside of Shopify and add another layer between creator content and the checkout, meaning a less seamless buying experience.

Full-lifecycle automations

With Superfiliate, brands can automate the full creator lifecycle inside the platform: application approval, welcome flows, gifting campaigns, link/code generation, seasonal commission adjustments, and tiered affiliate promotions.

Aspire offers some automation triggers but cannot auto-adjust commissions for seasonal promotions, which is a challenge for huge revenue opportunities like Black Friday. Aspire also doesn't offer hold periods for returns, so commissions pay out whether or not the customer keeps the product.

The full Meta Partnership Ads toolkit

Both Superfiliate and Aspire have first-party Creator Marketplace API access from Meta.

Aspire handles creator permissioning via single-click approvals and auto-requesting ad access through briefs. However, Aspire can only boost content that's already published on a creator's feed, so they cannot support dark posting or uploading raw UGC. This means your ads team still needs to use Meta Ads Manager separately for the creator-led ad formats that typically perform best, which defeats the purpose of paying for an in-platform ads suite.

Superfiliate runs one-click creator permissioning dark posts, standard UGC uploads, and boosting published content from the Meta Ads Suite. If your paid media strategy depends heavily on creator-led ads, Superfiliate gives you the full solution.

TikTok Shop: Superfiliate has it, Aspire doesn't

Superfiliate is a TikTok Shop Beta Partner with a dedicated integration, affiliate discovery, automated DM outreach, collaboration invites, and full-funnel tracking from collaboration sent to product sold. Aspire has no dedicated TikTok Shop integration. You can find TikTok creators through Aspire's discovery tooling, but GMV isn't tracked and there are no TikTok Shop automated workflows. If TikTok Shop is part of your broader social commerce strategy, you will need a separate solution because this isn't a gap Aspire can bridge.

Avoiding uncapped fees on every creator payout

Superfiliate pays creators via PayPal, ACH, Venmo, store credit, Lumanu, Tremendous, and more — with tax filings handled automatically. Aspire's only directly-advertised creator payment rail is PayPal, which does not allow creators to scale into ACH, Venmo, or get 1099s handled for them.

When Aspire might be the better fit

Aspire is the right tool in a few specific situations, none of which describe most Shopify DTC brands.

  • You need a full-service agency, not just software. If your team has less than five hours a week to spend on creator marketing and you need someone to build, run, and scale creator programs end-to-end, Aspire's agency arm has ten-plus years of campaign delivery history and can guarantee results. Superfiliate is a software-only platform and can connect you with influencer marketing talent via our SuperMatch talent pool, but doesn’t offer these services in-house.
  • Your discovery motion depends on an open, inbound marketplace. Aspire's 1M+ creator marketplace lets you post a campaign and pull in hundreds of applicants—the right shape of product if you want quantity-first sourcing. Superfiliate powers discovery using first-party data discovery and AI Lookalikes of your top performers for a more curated approach that prioritizes brand fit.
  • Your program runs primarily outside Shopify. If you're activating creators across Pinterest, Walmart, or non-Shopify storefronts as the core motion, Aspire's broader integration set will reduce friction. Superfiliate is purpose-built for Shopify and works best when Shopify is your central source of truth and you need reliable, native workflows.

For Shopify DTC brands who need influencer and affiliate programs, Meta Partnership Ads, and TikTok Shop tightly integrated into the store of record, Superfiliate is the better fit.

Verified Shopify App Store review

“Superfiliate has been a game-changer for our affiliate program, helping us grow by over 350% this year. Having a dedicated rep who's responsive and genuinely invested in our success has made all the difference, especially compared to other creator platforms we've tried. If you're looking to scale with a team that actually cares, this is it.”

“I've gotten so many complaints about different platforms and literally haven't gotten one complaint since we moved to Superfiliate, which is pretty shocking just considering the amount of things that can go wrong. It’s a testament to how good the platform is!”

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Superfiliate and Aspire?

Superfiliate is built for Shopify DTC brands. Aspire is built for enterprise. Superfiliate unifies influencer, affiliate, Meta Partnership Ads, and TikTok Shop in a single workflow tied directly to your Shopify catalog, including dark posts, UGC ads, and TikTok Shop integrations that Aspire doesn't offer. Aspire serves brands like Samsung and Walmart with a 1M+ creator marketplace and a full-service agency arm. If your business runs on Shopify and you're investing in creator-led paid media, Superfiliate does what Aspire can't. If you need a managed agency or run primarily across non-Shopify channels, Aspire is the tool for that.

Is Superfiliate more expensive than Aspire?

Look at the total cost, not just the sticker price. Aspire's published tiers start at $2,299/month (Pro) and $3,499/month (Enterprise), both on 12-month terms with onboarding fees of $2,000 to $4,500. On top of that, Aspire charges uncapped processing fees on every creator payout, 2% on PayPal, 5% on Stripe. At $50K/month in commissions, that's an extra $1,000 to $2,500/month in fees that don't show up on the contract itself. Superfiliate doesn't require a 12-month lock-in, meaning both sides have skin in the game from day one.

How long does it take to switch from Aspire to Superfiliate?

Most brands launch on Superfiliate within days, not weeks. Because the platform connects directly to your Shopify store and existing Meta and TikTok accounts, there's no long migration project — you connect, import creators, and start running campaigns. Our team handles the heavy lifting on creator migration, link mapping, and landing page setup so your active programs don't drop a beat.

“The Superfiliate team knew this was our fourth migration in three years, and they went above and beyond to ensure both our team and our affiliates had everything they needed. Don't let migration fears keep you stuck on a platform that's holding back your growth." Kelly Hartlage — Senior Influencer Marketing & Brand Ambassador Manager, Omnilux

Can I migrate my existing Aspire creators to Superfiliate?

Yes. Our onboarding team imports your existing creator roster, maps over all of their links and promo codes, and gets all creator cobranded landing pages live before you switch over. Most brands run both platforms in parallel for a short window so creators currently in flight don't notice the switch.

Does Superfiliate integrate with the same channels as Aspire (Meta, TikTok, Shopify, PayPal)?

The same channels, and deeper on the ones that drive revenue for DTC. Superfiliate has first-party integrations with Meta (Partnership Ads, Creator Discovery, Social Listening), TikTok Shop, and YouTube. On payouts: PayPal, ACH, Venmo, store credit, Lumanu, Tremendous, with tax filings automated. Aspire supports PayPal and Stripe but charges uncapped processing fees (2% and 5% respectively), doesn't offer ACH or Venmo, and doesn't handle tax filings. Aspire also has no TikTok Shop integration, a gap that matters more every quarter.

What about Aspire's creator marketplace? Does Superfiliate offer something similar?

Different approach, better results. Aspire's marketplace gives you volume, post a campaign, get hundreds of applicants, filter down. Superfiliate uses first-party Meta data and AI Lookalikes to surface creators who already mirror your best performers, then automates outreach via verified email and Instagram DMs. Fewer applicants to sift through. Higher-quality matches. No manual filter clicking. And because Aspire deprioritized DM outreach entirely, Superfiliate is the only one of the two that can reach creators where they actually respond.

Who should still choose Aspire over Superfiliate?

Brands that don't run on Shopify, or brands that need an agency to run the program for them. Aspire has been in-market since 2013 and has the agency arm and creator marketplace to match. Those are real strengths, but they're strengths that serve enterprise, not DTC. If you're a Shopify brand with an in-house team, you're paying for enterprise infrastructure you don't need and missing Shopify-native capabilities you do.
